first principles

selfagents

the template

  • first agent template is a product manager. then selfactor, gdock, and mixer each get an instance of that template.
  • selfagent is the substrate: named durable agents with identity, remit, memories, artifacts, and approvals. no tools, no outbound mail. so the template is a role contract plus artifacts, not a fake autonomous pm.
  • build order: template files, three named agents, run them as workspace agents first. tools later, still behind approvals.

discovery

  • a pm's day job is discovery. four questions on every bet: will they choose it, can they use it, can we build it, does it work for the business. weekly real-user touchpoints. opportunity solution tree. not ticket farming.
  • icp is who pays. alpha is who teaches. hobbyists and tool tourists poison the sample. hard disqualifiers or it is not a profile.

go to market

  • each product pm pairs with a sales agent on a shared gtm doc. pm owns the problem and the claims. sales owns motion and contact. neither sends without approval.
