nothing was missing

- traced the invalid deletions to completion staging missing tracked files as deletions, with the gc compounding it. restored every affected tree and verified the recovery manifest entry by entry: nothing was actually missing.
- stopped trusting the "another git command is running" message and made the lock check verify itself mechanically instead of assuming.
- inventoried every mono worktree: landed leftovers, live work, one finished-but-unlanded pilot, husks.
- investigated the session archive and reported that authorship is not recorded anywhere, so a role of
usercannot be read as a human. asked for human / agent / framework / unknown plus supporting evidence before the prd hardens. - found the gdock chat pane fault in the code path: the host reports success before the renderer acknowledges startup, and release builds hide the navigation error, which is why those failures were silent.
- learned the deletes were never data loss. the tools were believing their own summary of the tree instead of the tree.
