no silent stops

hero image for no silent stops
  • rebuilt the selfagent desktop dialogs onto one shared size and resize system, because each dialog had grown its own; restored the compact composer height outside dialogs; fixed pasted images, so a screenshot out of the clipboard and an image dropped into the composer both land now. replaced the previous Desktop development line with one that proves desktop and web against the same evidence, and added dragging an agent onto another row to set its reporting manager.
  • removed the engine's automatic default budget shutdowns. phases were parking themselves on a budget nobody chose, and the way out was to remember not to be in one. work stops when someone decides it stops.
  • closed the checkout-scope and authorization fallback holes and merged them with the canonical policy roots. legacy lock cutover now fails closed instead of half-migrating, canonical state roots resolve without an automatic migration, daemon integrity snapshots publish atomically, and sgit enforces a single registry snapshot so continuity cannot straddle two.
  • the lander now says why a worker is not running instead of failing silently, and rationale-free artifact decisions stayed human-only: authority proven through public validation, not asserted in a doc.
  • asked self chat for one model and got another. the request's stdio and profile were being dropped on the way through; they are preserved now, with the native profile selection bounded and launch custody verified.
  • gdock: file panels and the files context keep their repository, empty header paths stay empty, the renderer copy contract declares its keys, and the transcript covers failed tool runs.
  • took the queued-image, checkout-scope and computer-runtime packaging work through a second and third independent review, fixed what those reviews found, and finished the mounted Hal page and its latency budget. the first pass was never the deliverable.
  • kept the mono queue landing by hand where it stalled, restarted the mixer daemon that had clogged the lander, and repaired the state-directory collision that came back in a worktree.
  • .plan: hero images on the feed, an idle-gated backfill for the ones still missing, and an rss fix so site-relative hero paths resolve in enclosures. Hal's own posts for the week are published on their own schedule now.
  • next: fold the diagram-generation work from the archify research into our own cli and skill, first as a PRD, and keep going on the hourly avatar assets for the home agent.
