what the walk costs

catalog

  • software catalog discovery became a system rather than a doc: the org is classified down to suites, products, apps and libraries, so a work item can name where it belongs before anything is planned
    • discovery built out for Go modules and source-backed commands, literal Python packages, and npm, pnpm and Cargo workspaces, each qualified independently rather than trusted
    • frozen scans that resume from coverage receipts, so a stopped scan continues instead of starting over
    • every entry bound to an exact revision instead of a branch name
    • canonical read commands and API views, with typed product families and contracts over them
  • queued a configurable periodic competitive read, where the same catalog feeds a regular look at what comparable open and closed systems are doing

lander

  • mono shipped fourteen releases, 0.2.359 through 0.2.373, through the day and the night
  • the lander stopped advancing at 0.2.373; the queue was empty by morning, and later work sits on branches rather than main
  • the wedge measured to a directory walk inside the admission loop, plus an expired workload token whose remint would not decode
    • re-validation after a squash also dies at a lint script that has not been on that path since the move into mono
  • the status and readiness symmetry project ran all afternoon in the engine and failed to land on a 600 second validation timeout
    • it sits in attention rather than retrying, and its branch is intact

governance

  • DeepSeek eligibility fixed, so judging routes to a model that can serve it, with a smoke script that fails when it cannot
  • malformed task validation repaired, so a record that cannot be saved is rejected at write time instead of at land time
  • the contract now sits beside its hash and its validation status files in the ceremony directory

daemon

  • the daemon watches config and machine config instead of polling them, and takes mailbox pushes on the same event path

design

  • one design system across every selfactor.io surface: the design spec and the token file rewritten together, with a rendered suite page to hold them side by side

brand

  • public brand kit rebuilt for all four products with fresh download bundles, and the site loading logo moved to its new light and dark pair

gdock

  • the native Self chat context consumption display came back, with a webview test that fails when the context bundle is missing
  • session card hover panel rebuilt against the sidebar review mockup, pane cycler shortcut fixed, and the inspection host covered by tests
  • the right sidebar collapsed to a single reorder path that persists the stacked layout, panel cards name the pane's work item, and the org icon is gone from repo nodes
  • the models workloads override ceiling moved from 4 to 10, tested in the workloads tab

selfagent

  • bounded acceptance on four desktop features: composite delete, position editor and avatar acknowledgement passed end to end; form appearance failed on light-theme borders and focus
  • the realtime voice backend drove one real turn, and the returned audio was retranscribed to confirm the words
  • side chats collapsed into the agent row and fold when inactive, with agent details on hover and the Selfactor integration settings

rr

  • the session read is cookie-only now, so an authenticated read no longer rewrites or clears the cookie on its way to the page
    • two genuine red regressions were captured first, against the real handler and the installed response merger, and both pass
    • 132 tests green across eleven suites; the change is on a task, not committed
  • remembered sessions still drop after about an hour, so that work restarted from what is already in rather than patching over it, and the primary domain is back
